A taxi caught fire late on Wednesday and was completely burnt out near the town hall in Oslo.
The emergency services responded to a car fire in Roald Amundsens gate in the city center at 11.30pm. There was no danger of spreading to buildings, but there was a lot of smoke in the area, the police reported.
A few minutes after midnight, the police state that the car fire has been extinguished. The car, a taxi, is completely damaged. The driver escaped without injury. It was not an electric car, the police told NTB.
