YEP (43), officer State Storage for Confiscated Goods (Rupbasan) Class I North Jakarta Kanwil Kemenkumham DKI North Jakarta, must deal with the police. Not only that, he was also sanctioned by an employee code of ethics because of his status as a state civil servant (ASN).
YEP was arrested by the police for stealing a motorbike in North Jakarta. Worse yet, he stole for the fifth time.
The last action he did was to steal a motorbike in Cilincing, North Jakarta. His actions were caught on CCTV until he was caught by the police.
Five Times Steal Motor
Cilincing Police Chief Kompol Haris Akhmat Basuki said YEP did not just steal once, but already five times.
“He has committed this crime five times with different crime scenes and different durations,” Haris told reporters at the North Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday (1/8).
YEP was arrested for the theft of a motorbike belonging to Supriyanto (44), a cake seller in Cilincing, North Jakarta. YEP stole Supriyanto’s motorbike while he was at the Jongkok Market, Jalan Pedongkelan RT 001 RW 06, Semper Timur, Cilincing, North Jakarta, on Friday (21/7) at 06.20 WIB.
“The victim was a pancong cake seller who was in the market area,” explained Haris.
Steal the Motorbike Rupbasan Employee Mode
Haris said YEP was targeting motorbikes parked anywhere. He took advantage of the negligent owner leaving the key on the motorbike.
“When (the) situation was calm, the perpetrator immediately took the motorbike and the motorbike was taken and stored at the perpetrator’s workplace,” he continued.
Haris explained that the perpetrator’s actions were recorded on a CCTV camera and went viral on social media. Moreover, one of the residents admitted that he recognized the figure of YEP, which made it easier for the police to carry out developments.
