Unprecedented Flooding Hits Beijing and Hebei Provinces

[앵커]

Climate change is not serious this year.

The heart of Beijing, China, the 600-year-old Forbidden City has been unusually submerged in water.

In addition to the influence of Typhoon ‘Eagle’ that has already passed, rain damage continues in China as Typhoon ‘Kanun’, which is heading north, pushes up water vapor.

In the year 600, the water rose to the level of the calf in the ancient city of Forbidden City.

Built in the Ming Dynasty in China, the Forbidden City was rarely flooded, but it was rarely flooded.

Heavy rains from last weekend also flooded Beijing’s Daxing Airport.

The Central Meteorological Observatory of China announced that for four days from the 29th of last month, 744mm of heavy rain fell in Beijing’s Changping District, the most in 140 years.

There was also a water crisis in Hebei Province, near Beijing.

In Zhuozhou City, more than 1,800 people were trapped in apartments and rescued by firefighting authorities, and the ground subsided in places and collapsed.

The steam from Typhoon Eagle, which landed last weekend, is still staying inland, and it pushes the steam up to Typhoon Kanun, which is heading north.

Heavy rains that lasted for four days left 20 dead, 19 missing, and 890,000 victims in Beijing and Hebei provinces in northern China.

The Chinese Meteorological Administration predicted that 100 to 180 mm of rain accompanied by thunder and lightning would fall in Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang by tomorrow afternoon.

Due to the impact of the pressure trough, the path of the previous typhoon ‘Eagle’ deviated from expectations, causing great damage.

The path of Typhoon Kanun, which is currently heading north, is also changing from time to time, making it difficult to prepare for typhoons.
