Genevière de Fontenay has just died at the age of 90. The lady in the hat had passed through Thionville in October 2011 to attend the election of Miss Lorraine National, an election that will not fail to be talked about afterwards. “I’m happy to be in Lorraine, in Thionville. But I’ve come a long way! You know, I was born at the foot of the blast furnaces, so I am made of hardened steel, ”she confided!
