Portal Start menu, referring to his own source, reports that the “heir” Nintendo Switch may already be presented at gamescom 2023.
The portal received similar rumors at the end of July, but could not verify them. But then the media reported that Nintendo was planning to launch a new console in 2024 – and some of the details from those news just coincided with the statements of the source.
In addition, individual Nintendo partner studios have allegedly already received Switch 2 dev kits.
How exactly the announcement of the new console will take place (and whether it will take place) is still unclear. They can talk about it as part of a special presentation. Nintendo Direct or at the gamescom 2023 opening ceremony.
gamescom itself will run from August 23rd to 27th, with an opening ceremony on August 22nd hosted by Jeff Keely.
