Ukraine to Use Croatian Ports for Grain Exports, Boosting Food Security and Breaking Through Russian Blockade

Ukraine has agreed to use the ports of one of the European countries for export.

Ukraine agreed to use Croatian ports for grain exports after Russia’s withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

About it informed press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine after the talks between Minister Dmytro Kuleba and his Croatian counterpart Gordon Grlich-Radman during his visit to Ukraine.

“We agreed on the possibility of using Croatian ports on the Danube and in the Adriatic Sea to transport Ukrainian grain. Now we will work to lay the most efficient routes to these ports and make the most of this opportunity. Every contribution to unlocking exports, every open door – this is a real, effective contribution to the food security of the world. I thank Croatia for constructive assistance,” Kuleba said.

Recall the Israeli ship was the first to break through the grain blockade of Russia and is heading to Ukraine. Its path passes through the Black Sea, accompanied by an American anti-ship aircraft and a drone.
