The father of the patient, who is 20 years old, had appealed to benefactors and white-hearted people to help him pay the remaining amount of the cost of his daughter’s treatment, pointing out that his financial situation is very bad and does not allow him to secure the amount.
The “hotline” coordinated between the donors and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai to transfer the value of the donation to the patient’s account at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain.

And (Abu Nourhan) narrated that he discovered that his daughter had the disease months after her birth, as she had health problems, so he admitted her to Tawam Hospital, where she underwent the necessary tests and analyzes, and it was found that she had Crohn’s disease, which is a disease that affects the intestines and digestive system, and causes Serious health problems if the patient does not adhere to the treatment plan.
The father added, “The doctor confirmed that my daughter needs continuous follow-up and reviews in the hospital’s specialized clinics. They also need a certain type of nutritional supplement, which they mainly depend on for their nutrition.
He said that the value of the nutritional supplement amounts to 1238 dirhams per month, pointing out that the amount exceeds his modest financial capabilities.
He added that the other problem that (Nourhan) faces is that she needs to renew the health insurance card, so that she can go to specialized clinics and take an intravenous injection, which is covered by the insurance card.
Abu Nourhan works in a private agency, and receives a monthly salary of 8,357 dirhams, from which he pays the rent, electricity and water bills, while he cannot afford the costs of renewing the health insurance card and food supplement.
Crohn’s disease is a chronic, non-infectious inflammation that causes inflammation of the lining of the digestive tract, and is one of the “inflammatory bowel” diseases. The cause is not known, but it may be an abnormal reaction of the immune system.
