A day marked by the presence of Dahiras and Mouride disciples in America, members of the family of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba and Mame Cheikh Ibra Fall, the African-American community, and many other personalities and individuals of all nationalities, religions and race combined. Grandsons of Serigne Touba were honoured, for their leadership, their great spiritual involvement in the diaspora, by Dior Fall called Didi.
This year’s ceremony was marked by two unprecedented events: the presence of Nurisha Harvey, daughter of the late Honorable Balozi Harvey, of Serigne Mame Mor Mbacke Balozi, of Moustapha Mbacke Gainde Fatma, all crowned by Didi Fall on behalf of her 1000 Shades of Women Foundation.
Distinctions signed by the American President, Joe Biden, but also the Commonwealth States in United States, partner of the President-Founder of 1000 Shades of Women.
