An accident occurred this morning at 9 a.m. on the A31 near the town of Richemont in the Luxembourg – Nancy direction. A car and a truck collided.
The right lane is closed, traffic is moving on the left lanes. Traffic on this axis is slowed down. A 2.6 km traffic jam was noted at 9:30 a.m. Traffic was also disrupted on the A30 from Longwy to Metz (west-east direction) due to the same accident. A 1.5 km traffic jam is underway.
According to the first elements, the accident would have caused only minor injuries. Firefighters are on site. The two people who were in the car were evacuated to Mercy Hospital for simple checks.
