Xinhua News Agency, Hong Kong, July 31 (Reporter Su Wanming) The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Li Jiachao, will deliver the 2023 Policy Address on October 25 this year, and the SAR government will launch a public consultation on the Policy Address on the 31st.
Li Jiachao said that in the past year, he and his team have walked out of the epidemic together with everyone. On the way forward, I have been listening carefully to everyone’s voices, taking specific measures to improve governance and enhance development momentum, relieve people’s hardship and gather social strength, and build Hong Kong together with everyone. In the future, he and his team will continue to work pragmatically, actively integrate into the overall development of the country, and give full play to Hong Kong’s unique advantages of being backed by the motherland and connecting the world, so as to seek greater development opportunities for Hong Kong and enable citizens to live a happier life.
The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government will hold more than 30 consultation sessions to listen to the opinions and suggestions of members of the Legislative Council, representatives of different sectors and citizens on the policy address. Li Jiachao and the governance team will also go into the community to visit citizens and representatives from all walks of life to collect opinions in a variety of ways.
