The Internet is worried about iShowSpeed. The star streamer is in Japan and reported directly from an ambulance in an update.
Tokyo, Japan – iShowSpeed appears to be having a health emergency. The star streamer, known for his funky energy and crazy real-life live streams, last posted a video on his YouTube account of his trip to Japan on July 25. It’s been quiet for some time since then, before Speed shared another video on July 30 of him in an ambulance: With his eye badly swollen. Fans are worried about the 18-year-old.

iShowSpeed: Concern for star streamers – speculation goes to specific type of headache
Speed in Japan: Most recently, Twitch streamer iShowSpeed was traveling in Japan. There he attended, among other things, a friendly match between Al-Nassr and Paris Saint-Germain. Not only Speed was present at the game, he also met other stars there. Among other things, iShowSpeed met Kim Kardashian and wanted to make her bark like a dog. Speed has also recently posed with pro soccer player Neymar Jr, but things seem to have taken a turn for the worse.

Terrifying update video: A recent video from iShowSpeed is captioned only with a “broken heart” emoji and shows the streamer in visibly bad shape. “A quick update from me. I don’t know what I have, but I could have surgery right away.” Speed sits in an ambulance with his crew, his eye visibly swollen and his forehead wrapped in what may be ice packs or bandages.
What is the problem? Something seems to have happened to Speed, especially with the eye, in the video he says “it feels like someone is poking my eye.” Some fans initially suspected that the streamer had gotten into a fight, from which he could have taken the injuries. At least it wouldn’t be the first encounter. Just last June, iShowSpeed took on another football fan in Manchester.
But the problem seems much less a fight than an actual, serious illness. Other fans see iShowSpeed’s symptoms as clear signs of so-called cluster headaches. The symptoms would fit, but it could also be another disease that is currently unknown to us.
What are cluster headaches?
Cluster headaches are a special form of the common everyday illness. These are usually short but very severe headache attacks, which usually occur on one side of the head. Symptoms include severe pain in the eye and temple area, reddening of the conjunctiva, swelling and sagging of the upper eyelid, swollen and runny nose, and profuse sweating. A distinction is made between episodic cluster headaches, which occur in phases lasting two to eight weeks, and chronic cluster headaches.
In the meantime there has been another update of iShowSpeed. The streamer was taken to a Tokyo hospital. However, there is still no definitive diagnosis. The parents of the 18-year-old are probably also on their way from the USA to Tokyo to support him. We wish Speed a speedy recovery.
