The Saudi Pro League could apparently face the next costly transfer. As the English broadcaster Sky Sports reports, Al-Hilal is trying to get Victor Osimhen from SSC Napoli. Accordingly, the club from Saudi Arabia is offering a fee of 140 million euros for the Nigerian, who helped Napoli to their first “Scudetto” in 33 years with 26 goals this season. Osimhen could earn around one million euros a week from a transfer, it said.

Osimhen’s contract in Naples runs until 2025, and talks about an early extension are said to have failed. FC Bayern Munich is said to have thought about a commitment in the meantime, but Honorary President Uli Hoeneß described the former Wolfsburg player as “completely priceless”. Naples President Aurelio De Laurentiis recently stressed that they did not want to sell Osimhen unless an “immoral offer” was made.
Al-Hilal probably already failed with Mbappé and Messi
Osimhen isn’t the first superstar to have Al-Hilal reaching out to him: Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé is said to have declined talks with the club after reports his club had an offer of a record €300m transfer fee assumed. Argentinian world footballer Lionel Messi, who is also being courted by Al-Hilal, decided to join Inter Miami.
