The speed of the vehicle in this traffic jam is only less than 20 km per hour. The motorbikes were trying to get through this traffic jam.
One resident, Tara (27) complained about the traffic jam. He also hopes that there will be widening of the road so that congestion can be resolved.
“If it’s possible, we’ll widen the road. The problem is we’re really tired of getting stuck in traffic jams here every morning,” said Tara on Jalan Juanda, Monday (31/7).
Tara doesn’t know the exact cause of the traffic jam. What is clear, he said, traffic jams always occur in the morning.
“I don’t know either (the cause). But it’s jammed every morning. If it’s late at night, it’s the other way around (jammed),” he said.
The same thing was also conveyed by another resident, Iwan (29). He also hopes that there will be a solution to the existing congestion, one of which is by widening the road.
“Yes, if possible, there is a solution for the traffic jam. It could also be widening the road, or maybe another solution,” said Iwan.
