Another person has died at the Tomorrowland music festival. The victim is a 35-year-old visitor from Thailand, the Antwerp public prosecutor’s office says to Belgian media.
Last weekend there was also a death at the festival in Boom, Belgium. Then a 26-year-old employee died, probably after drug use.
Nothing has yet been announced about the cause of death of the 35-year-old festival-goer from Thailand. The VRT reports that the visitor was found unconscious on the festival site around midnight yesterday. He or she was then taken to the hospital, where the festival-goer died.
Sympathy
In a first reaction, Tomorrowland expresses sympathy to the victim’s friends and family to the VRT. The organization is awaiting further investigation into the death. Visitors are called upon to look after each other and offer help if someone is in need.
Tomorrowland is one of the largest dance festivals in the world. This edition lasts two weekends and started last week. Tomorrow is the last day.
