Gentle Yoga for Improving Pelvic Floor Muscle Strength

Through gentle yoga poses and breathing techniques, it helps to stretch muscles and relax the body and mind. Cancer survivors and the general public are also suitable for this kind of practice. The theme of yoga practice in this episode is “Improving Pelvic Floor Muscle Strength”, demonstrated by Ms. Zeng Cuiqiong, instructor of the Cancer Foundation’s physical and spiritual health course.

Practitioners do not need any yoga experience, they only need to prepare a yoga mat, and then they can practice with the instructor. Through yoga poses, the range of motion between the hip joints, pelvis and lower lumbar spine can be increased, blood circulation in the abdominal cavity can be driven, and the flexibility of the pelvic floor muscles can be restored to protect the abdominal organs.
