French U16 and U17 Teams Face Off in International Friendly Final at Chartres

A clash of generations, under 16 against under 17. The two French teams competing in the international friendly tournament (U16) in Chartres will face each other in the final, this Sunday July 30, at 4.30 p.m., at the Jean-Cochet hall.

This Saturday, during the second day of this friendly tournament which serves as preparation for the Euro U16, from August 5 to 13, in Skopje (Macedonia), the Blues confirmed their success of the first day.

The U17s first outclassed Belgium 94 to 43 with in particular 20 points from leader Talis Soulhac (opposite in photo), seen this season in N1 against Chartres with the Pôle France, and 10 rebounds from Momahed Cissoko.

Then the U16s, who had dominated these same Belgians 109-60 on Friday, again exceeded the 100 mark against Finland. In front of some 150 spectators, they won 102-53 at the end of the match where they were leading 33-5 at the end of the first quarter.
