In a joint operation between Municipal and State Civil Protection together with the elements of the water police and the support of boats from tourist service providers and the Mexican Navy, were able to transfer the stranded people to a beach in Mazatlan.

It was reported that on Friday afternoon, a lot of tourists were enjoying the beach area of ​​Isla de Venados, when the strong wind and rain came and remained isolated in that place for more than an hour while the night passed. strong storm.

The tourists were rescued and transferred to a beach in Mazatlán.

After the rain subsided, the special operation was mounted to bring back the tourists who had been stranded on the “middle” island.

For this, they had the support of the boats or pangas of the tourist service providers, as well as the Search and Rescue vessels of the Mexican Navy and the Aquatic Police, and the joint participation of elements of municipal and state Civil Protection, in addition the support of the municipal lifeguards.
