(PressFire.no): Square Enix has revealed the next additional pack for “Final Fantasy XIV”, called “Dawntrail”.
This is the fifth of its kind for the online game, and allows players to visit a slightly more tropical area than before, in what director Naoki Yoshida says is “the ultimate summer vacation.”
With the new area (called Tural) also comes an increase in how high a level you can be from 90 to 100, new jobs, new quests and caves, new enemies and new equipment – plus new raids for up to eight players and PVP contents.
In addition, there will also be people from a new tribe called Pelupelu, which seems to be inspired from “Final Fantasy X” and “X-2”.
At the same time that the add-on package arrives in the summer of next year, the game will also receive a major visual improvement, Yoshida can explain. Textures, lighting and such will be upgraded – more info will come later.
