Mark Zuckerberg’s new social media platform Threads has lost more than half of its users, reports the BBC. The platform, created as an alternative to Twitter, reported 100 million users after its launch this month.
Zuckerberg pointed out that there has been a big drop in the number of users in recent days. If you have more than 100 million people who have signed up, ideally it would be great if all or even half of them stay, he explained.
Meta’s founder described the situation as normal. According to him, the new functions of the application will help users stay on the social network.
Threads has been criticized for its limited functionality, which it had when it launched. Since then, Meta has added new features such as “follow” and “for you” and increased the scope to translate posts into different languages.
