Deporpress Writing | Tenerife inaugurates the Javier Pérez Sports City. This Wednesday, starting at 11:00 a.m., the inauguration of the new multifunctional service building and the stands of the Ciudad Deportiva de Tenerife Javier Pérez will take place.
The act, which can be followed live, through the official channel of YouTube CD Tenerife (from 10:50 am). And it will have the presence of the president of the Cabildo, Pedro Martín; that of the blue and white entity, Miguel Concepción, as well as a representation of the institutions and the different clubs of the Island.
The works in the Tenerife venue pay special attention to correct accessibility, both to the sports facilities for users and to the stands for spectators.
The Ciudad Deportiva de Tenerife Javier Pérez is currently made up of four football pitches –two with natural grass and two with artificial grass-. And it constitutes not only the main engine of grassroots football on the Island; It is also a powerful instrument for the development of the grassroots area of CD Tenerife and its Foundation. In total, 6,370 interior square meters have been allocated to sports use. It also has a residence for athletes, multipurpose rooms and offices, as well as 918 square meters of outdoor area.
The Ciudad Deportiva opens up to Tenerife society to enable different activities to be carried out, both sports for everyone and for different groups. It does so with the ultimate goal of promoting physical activity and sport at all levels. This line is part of the collaboration between CD Tenerife and the Island Council, with the aim of improving the training of young people and promoting healthy lifestyle habits among the population.
