The BRICS Development Bank does not plan to invest in projects in Russia. This was announced by the head of the bank, Dilma Rousseff, RBC reported.

Russia is trying to expand cooperation in the group. The bank currently prefers to comply with the conditions of the West.

Rousseff announced that the new bank should work to raise funds for partner country markets. Accepts payments in national currencies from countries in the developing world.

Argentina plans to join the new bank, which could happen in August.

Rousseff herself was Brazil’s head of state. The Russian state is trying to find alternative international currencies.
