Two police officers ended up in the hospital early Wednesday morning in Ayia Napa after being attacked by tourists.
According to the police, the officers responded to a call about a fight in an open area outside a beer bar. Upon their arrival, the police officers were attacked by the tourists, resulting in two people being injured.
The authorities proceeded to arrest four young men who were brought before a court yesterday where a case was registered against them.
The four are facing charges of affray, assaulting police officers, resisting lawful arrest and assault causing bodily harm.
