Aksels Lukševičs: The Talented Latvian Chess Player Who Beat 10 Opponents Simultaneously

The talented Latvian chess player Aksels Lukševičs played a match against 10 opponents at the same time in the Kalnciem quarter yesterday as part of the Chess Day and beat all of them, chess player Andris Tihomirovs reports on the social network “X”.

“Thank you to everyone who came yesterday to the chess day in Kalnciems quarter,” Tikhomirov writes. “I really liked it myself. In the picture, Rīgas Mata’s leading chess player Aksel is playing against 10 players at the same time. Aksel managed to win all the games!”

Tikhomirov also emphasizes that Axel, born in 2012, usually shows good results in competitions. The website of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) reports that Lukšević is ranked 1256th in the world in rapid game, and 1125th in blitz.
