WHY COME: The second year of the festival will offer four stages (EDM, DNB, TECH-HOUSE/TECHNO, TRAP) and more than 100 performers, including influencers. For example, names like Ektor, Sergei Barracuda, Pil C, Hard Rico, Vladimír Mišík and others. At the same time, the launch of Sergei Barracuda’s album “Street Economy 4” is planned, as well as a Clash of the Star zone with wrestlers, fun attractions and more.
Ostrava Pride 2023

WHY COME: This will be the fifth year of the LGBT+ parade. The streets of Ostrava will come alive with colorful banners, chanting and Rhythms of Resistance music. The procession will lead through the center of Ostrava. The meeting is at 1 p.m. in Comenské Gardens (by the Red Army Memorial), from where the procession will go to the center and return to Comenské Gardens.

Gravel Open Music 2023

WHY COME: The popular music show brings visitors a whole constellation of more and less well-known music groups and bands from Thursday to Saturday. Among the most famous ones are, for example, Lucie, Chinaski, Mirai, Tata Bojs, Mig 21, Horkýže Slíže, Prague selection, Xindl X, singer Anna K and singing actor Tomáš Matonoha with E Band and a whole host of others that their fans will enjoy to their heart’s content.
A weekend with show jumping
WHEN: Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 July from 9 am
WHERE : Equestrian club Opava – Kateřinky

WHY COME: Lovers of sport horses and their riders will certainly not miss the weekend showjumping event. The equestrian club will offer them races for big horses – the traditional Pegas Cup. On Saturday, the riders and their four-legged companions will overcome obstacles up to 120 centimeters high, and on Sunday the competitions will continue on obstacles with a height of 100 centimeters and the main competition at a height of 135 centimeters.

Beskyd Rally Turzovka 2023

Jazz Festival 2023 in Bruntál

WHY COME: It will be the 13th annual jazz festival in Bruntál’s city park. The entertainment will be started by the Olomouc Dixieland Jazz Band, an ensemble that was founded in 1965 by then young enthusiasts and lovers of traditional jazz. The band focused on the traditional Dixieland repertoire represented by the groups of Louis Armstrong, Graeme Bell, Thark Murphy, as well as small ensembles of the interwar period in the world and in our country. Mirko Schubert’s 2G band, Yellow Sisters, will also perform, originally a female vocal group, whose singing moves with ease across the genres of soul, funk, r’n’b, world music, jazz and reggae. Visitors will also hear Trio KUH, Stanley’s Dixie Street Band. The program will end with the Lukáš Oravec Quartet feat Andy Middleton, one of the best saxophonists and jazz composers living in Europe today. Entrance to the festival is free. Refreshments and facilities are also available in the restaurant in the park – Roští.
Party festivities 2023

WHY COME: A rich program is prepared – attractions for children, maybe even a magician will come – for children and adults, dance performance by Active Senior Women, air rifle shooting competition, timed beer drinking competition, performance by Mirabel music group. A DJ will be playing throughout the day for listening and dancing, refreshments will be provided throughout the event, including traditional goulash and a rich raffle.
