Kawai Musical Instrument Co., Ltd.will release the score creation software “Score Maker ZERO” and “Score Maker ZERO Editor” for free on August 23rd.
Score Maker ZERO is a free version of the software series “Score Maker” that the company has been selling since 1995, without the score recognition function. In addition to being equipped with a full-fledged score creation function, it is also equipped with a “vocal sound source” function that allows you to perform, print, create transpositions and parts, and sing lyrics.
The creation of musical scores can be completed simply by selecting and pasting symbols such as musical notes. It is characterized by being able to easily create transpositions and parts that would otherwise be troublesome to do manually.
Paid “Score Maker ZERO Platinum” and “Score Maker ZERO Standard” equipped with a score recognition function are also offered as a subscription service.

In addition, users who are currently contracting editor licenses will be automatically canceled on August 23, and the licenses for the remaining months will be transferred to the usage rights of the new version of the standard license.
