Fire Brigade Response to Ryanair Plane Blowout at Eindhoven Airport

The fire brigade went to Eindhoven Airport with several fire trucks on Thursday evening because a Ryanair plane had run into problems there. It turned out that the plane had a blowout. The emergency services turned out en masse in case a fire broke out and evacuation had to be done. That turned out not to be necessary.

According to the fire service, the situation is under control and no one was injured.

The aircraft suffered a blowout during landing, but the crew was able to drive the aircraft to the gate independently after an inspection by the airport fire brigade.

After the runway had been cleaned and pieces of rubber had been removed, the runway was reopened after less than an hour.

Blowout again
Earlier this year there was also a plane with a blowout at the airport. It then concerned a flight from a Ryanair aircraft from London.
