The taxi driver suffered severe head injuries and was unconscious when he was rushed to Queen Mary Hospital. He was pronounced dead at 9:13 pm. The male passenger, who was also unconscious, was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The two female passengers were sent to Queen Mary Hospital while the girl, who remained conscious, was taken to the same hospital for treatment.
