DJI Air 3: The Latest Middle Class Drone with Powerful 4K Camera

DJI Launches New Drone, DJI Air‌ 3, with Dual 4K Camera

Jakarta (ANTARA) ⁢-‍ DJI has launched its latest drone, the DJI Air‌ 3, a mid-range drone with a‍ dual 4K camera that offers stronger photo and video‍ capabilities than its predecessor, the Air 2S.

The DJI Air 3 is equipped with ‍a dual 4K camera⁣ system, with a wide-angle ‌lens equivalent to a 24mm focal length and an aperture of f/1.7, as well as ‌a medium telephoto lens ⁤equivalent to a 70mm focal length and an aperture of f/2.8.⁤ Both lenses ⁤are 1/1.3 inches in‍ size and support dual native ISO, as reported by Gizmochina on Tuesday (25/7).

The medium telephoto lens provides a zoom‌ range of 3-9x, while the wide-angle lens offers a zoom range of 1-3x. In contrast, its predecessor, the DJI Air 2S, only had a single 22mm lens with an aperture of f/2.8 ⁣and a‌ 1-inch CMOS sensor.

DJI Air 3 offers superior video capabilities compared to‍ the Air ‌2S. The drone can record 4K@100fps and 4K@60fps videos with⁤ HDR without cropping, providing‍ a richer ⁢visual experience.

In comparison, the‍ Air 2S can only record 5.4K videos at 30fps or 4K videos⁢ at 60fps.

Additionally, ⁤the Air 3 supports dual 2.7K vertical⁢ image capture in a 4:3 aspect ratio, eliminating the ⁣need for post-capture cropping and achieving the display limits on most smartphones.

This drone is equipped with advanced safety features, an‌ omnidirectional vision sensing system. ‍The system can detect obstacles from⁣ all directions, and with the help of APAS 5.0, the drone can⁢ smoothly maneuver to ⁢avoid detected obstacles, ensuring safe flight.

DJI Air ⁢3 is equipped with advanced color modes, offering support for 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG on all lenses. The 10-bit D-Log M mode retains⁤ more details in highlights and shadows, allowing for flexible ‍post-production processing.

On the other hand, the 10-bit HLG mode provides a higher dynamic range directly on devices that support HDR, eliminating the need ‌for post-recording ⁣color processing.

DJI Air 3 is equipped with smart features such as Focus Follow for capturing ‍stunning images, and Waypoint⁢ Flight for precise daytime and nighttime flight routes and ⁢missions.

The Night Scene mode allows ⁤for low-light 4K@30fps image capture with noise reduction, and also supports slow-motion recording at speeds of 4K/100fps or 1080p/100fps to create 4x slow-motion ‍videos.

DJI Air 3 features the new O4 HD image transmission system with a range⁤ of up to 20 ⁢kilometers, offering better stability and‌ supporting 1080p/60fps image transmission. The drone also has a higher wind resistance of 12 ⁢m/s compared to the Air 2S, which is‍ only 10.7 m/s.

Although slightly heavier at 720g⁢ compared to the‌ Air 2S at 595g, DJI Air 3 provides many additional features and higher wind resistance.

The Air ⁢3 also has a longer battery life, providing a maximum flight time ⁢of 46⁢ minutes with a 4,241mAh battery, an increase of⁣ 48 ‌percent compared to the previous generation.

The new power charging hub allows for power collection, so remaining power from⁢ multiple batteries can be transferred to the battery with the highest capacity.

DJI Air‌ 3 is ‍available in three configurations: DJI Air‍ 3 (DJI RC-N2) ⁢priced at $1,099, DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (DJI RC-N2) priced at $1,349,‌ and ‍DJ
