Anies Baswedan, the Governor of Jakarta, took the opportunity to meet with former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Susi Pudjiastuti, during his visit to Pangandaran. The meeting between Anies and Susi was captured and shared by Anies on his social media account on Monday (24/7). Anies initially teased his followers by asking them to guess where he was heading on a train.
As it turns out, Anies met with Susi Pudjiastuti, with a beautiful seaside view as the backdrop. The meeting took place during sunset, creating a picturesque moment. Anies shared a selfie with Susi and invited his followers to leave their greetings in the comments.
According to Anies’ written statement, he visited Pangandaran, West Java, where he had the opportunity to meet with Susi. Anies was warmly welcomed by Susi and her family. Anies, wearing a blue shirt and vest, was greeted by Susi, who was dressed in a colorful floral outfit.
“How are you?” Anies greeted Susi.
“Good, but the sunset is gone, somebody stole the sun,” Susi jokingly replied, which was followed by laughter from both of them.
Meanwhile, Susi also spoke about her meeting with Anies Baswedan. She revealed that they discussed various topics, including politics.
“We talked about many things, one of which was my activities in producing candlenut oil,” Susi confirmed on Tuesday (25/7).
Susi mentioned that there were political discussions during the meeting, but she emphasized that she only listened and did not actively participate.
“We talked about politics, but I just listened. There were too many topics, so I forgot,” she said.
