Lois The Conqueror! That could be Loïs Openda’s nickname. He already did this at Vitessen and all the way last season in Ligue 1. At RC Lens he immediately captured the hearts of the fans and the entire Ligue 1 and that resulted in a wonderful transfer.
It took a while before the bullet was through the church, but eventually that top transfer came for the attacker of the Red Devils. The German RB Leipzig deposited just over 40 million euros for Openda. He immediately showed that he is worth it.
In the exhibition match against the Italian Udinese, he came in around the 60th minute. Barely 6 minutes later he already made the nets vibrate. After a nice feint, Openda shot the ball high: 1-1. It was Udinese who came out on top in the final phase and won 1-2.
