The Castillo del Sol Kindergarten, was the venue for the meeting between the Regional presidential delegate, Gabriel Pradenas, the regional director of Junji Ñuble, Mafalda Díaz, officials, the unions of the institution, Public Security of the Municipality of Chillán and Carabineros, to start the “Extension Hours Program, pioneer in the region, which will allow girls and boys to stay longer in the establishment.
An opportunity for the parents, to have their sons and daughters cared for until 6:30 p.m. -the end of the day was until 4:30 p.m.- and the peace of mind of the support provided by the regional delegate, with constant rounds from the Carabineros, the municipality and an agenda focused on the protection of families in the sector.
The regional director of Junji Ñuble, Mafalda Díaz, highlighted that “today we give the official go-ahead to our Extension Hours Program, which will allow 48 boys and girls to be able to attend comprehensively and with quality, so that their parents can work calmly and calmly. At this moment we are with a program of 48 infant boys and girls, also 20 boys and girls of nursery age and 28 mid-level children with a new team, staff that joins and enters our institution, 5 nursery education technicians plus a service assistant who will be at the service of this community. We have been able to carry out this first unique extended hours program in Chile this year 2023, which makes us feel tremendously proud of the institution and of being able to provide an effective and efficient response to our families who need it today”.
Meanwhile, the regional presidential delegate Gabriel Pradenas maintained that “we are in the commune of Chillán and indeed today there is a very important sample of institutional articulation. Today we are with JUNJI, Carabineros de Chile and the Municipality of Chillán, plus the Presidential Delegation, articulating a whole service in the extension of hours to provide the best service and improvement in quality of life to the families of Ñuble and of course of the Chillán commune”.
With an enrollment of 48 preschoolers in the “Castillo del Sol” Kindergarten, the Extension Hours program in the region contemplates the hiring of six employees who will care for 20 preschoolers at the nursery level and 28 girls and boys at the secondary level.
