Pep Guardiola said, condition Erling Haaland in the pre-season session has been better than last season. Last season, Haaland was able to pack 52 goals in 53 matches, you know!
“Compared to last season, he is more fit. He was in much better condition than last season when he arrived,” Pep Guardiola was quoted as saying BBC recently.
“We want him to perform like last season. He is not injured, which is good news, but he is still far from the best condition as other players, he continued.
“He knows what to do, we know how he is and in a few weeks he will be in better condition than he is now,” Guardiola added.
Erling Haaland Breaking multiple achievements last season. Haaland won the top scorer title Premier League and the Champions League, 36 goals and 12 goals respectively.
Haaland also broke the record for most Premier League goals in a season. That has passed Andy Cole’s 34 goals in 1993/1994 and Alan Shearer in 1994/1995.
interestingly, Erling Haaland also included in the list of players who wasted opportunities in the Premier League last season. Haaland missed a golden opportunity 28 times!
So if the word is true Pep Guardiola, can imagine how horrified the striker Manchester City is it next season?
