The motorcycle vacation of Wohnout singer Matěj Homola ended prematurely. He crashed while traveling in Albania and ended up in the hospital. Due to a broken collarbone, the band had to cancel the concert, but next week Wohnout should play again in full line-up.
Singer of the band Wohnout Matěj Homola did not enjoy his holiday in the Mediterranean very much. He crashed while traveling on motorbikes through Albania with his girlfriend Andrea Brodeková. His dog got tangled up under the wheels of his motorcycle.
After the accident, Homola ended up in the hospital, where he was treated for a fracture. “He has a broken collarbone, so unfortunately he won’t be able to play with us this weekend. But he should be able to play with us next weekend without any problems, if everything goes well,” said Wohnout band manager Gábina Pánková.
Homol’s girlfriend Andrea got out of the accident much better. “Andree, thank you for taking care and handling the local bureaucracy. She has a few scrapes and is limping, but she will make it, brave woman,” the singer wrote on his instagram.
His former partner Dara Rolins, with whom the singer has a daughter, Laura, also commented on Homol’s accident. She was the first to learn about the accident. “I’ve known about the wrecker from Laura since Monday. We talked to him on the phone and luckily he is well taken care of in Albania,” said Dara.
According to Dara, the singer is trying to be a hero. “He said that he would lie there for about a week and that it was a terrible pain. He didn’t sound very happy, but he was taking it heroically. He was glad that he was in Albania, where he has friends and a background, so there is someone to take care of him there. Of course, if he had an accident in Italy, where he doesn’t know anyone, we will take care of him,” she added.
