Sharjah > Sharjah Souq Al Jubail 8th Date Festival has been extended until September, officials said. The annual Souq Al Jubail date festival is a major destination for sellers and lovers of all kinds of dates as they are considered an essential food product in Arab heritage. The date festival started on 15th June. Engineer Souq Al Jubail Chief Officer Hameed Al Sarouni said that they are proud of the great turnout and look forward to more participation in the future of this annual festival. Al Sarouni added that Souq Al Jubail, a project of Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, will strive to host a variety of events throughout the year that cater to the different interests of visitors.
