Yes, in practice an OMNY card can be used by 1, 2, 3 or 4 people. But I don’t recommend it for a trip to New York. If there are 4 of you, the system only takes into account a single journey for the count of the 12 journeys. The other 3 people will therefore continuously pay the normal price. If you come on vacation to New York with several people, you must each have your OMNY account.
