Today, Xiaomi presented to Czech customers its brand new Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet, which it had previously launched on the domestic Chinese market. This is a middle-class tablet suitable for multimedia, watching videos, playing games or basic work. A case with a Bluetooth keyboard will also be available.
A tablet for work and fun
The Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet has an all-aluminum construction, and the flat front is covered by durable 3rd generation Gorilla Glass. On the back there is a logo, several pins for connecting accessories and also a photo module in the style of Xiaomi 13, in which only the 13Mpx main camera is hidden. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera hidden in the edge.
The front part is occupied by a large 11″ LCD type display with a sufficient resolution of 1,800 × 2,880 pixels at an aspect ratio of 16:10 and there is also an increased refresh rate, in this case up to 144 Hz. It is also worth mentioning Dolby Vision, HDR10 and a brightness of up to 550 nits. It won’t be quite like working in the park.
The display of the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet
Xiaomi cannot deny striving for the best possible ratio of price and equipment, which is why the Pad 6 has a Snapdragon 870 main control unit from Qualcomm. The chipset with an octa-core processor manages the highest clock speed of 3.2 GHz and there is also sufficient RAM memory. There will be a variant of 6/128 GB, or 8/256 GB. In this case, the storage is of the UFS 3.1 type, but the slot for memory cards cannot be found on the body.
What about other equipment? There are stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB-C 3.2. Xiaomi in the Czech Republic will offer only the Wi-Fi variant of the tablet, i.e. without a nanoSIM slot. The battery is slightly above average, the capacity stopped at 8,840 mAh and charging is 33W (Power Delivery and Quick Charge 4.0).
Price and availability
As already mentioned, the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet is offered in the Czech Republic in two memory variants from today: 6/128 GB costs CZK 8,999, 8/256 GB costs CZK 9,999, both prices include VAT. The tablet is available in blue, gold and dark gray versions. In terms of price, it goes against, for example, the 9th generation iPad from Apple.
Stylus for Xiaomi Pad 6 Case with keyboard
The Chinese manufacturer will also offer accessories for this device. The branded Smart Pen stylus, which you can use, for example, to write notes, costs CZK 1,999. The case with the keyboard costs an additional 1,999 CZK including VAT.
