Jakarta –
Recently, a woman named Yoona Mei shared her sad experience driving a Toyota Veloz. The vehicle he just bought two months ago experienced an overheat in the middle of the road. So, what is the real cause?
Yoona Mei’s Veloz is currently still being taken care of by the repair shop. The repair takes time because there are a number of components that must pivot. The good news, he loaned a replacement car.
“Because the part pivoted for several days, I was borrowed a replacement car,” said Yoona Mei through a video uploaded to her TikTok account. @yoona_meiiMonday (24/7).

He admitted that he had received information from the repair shop about the damage to his car. According to what he heard from the technician, the vehicle had a problem with the upper radiator hose.
“The results of the analysis from the technician, it turns out that there is a problem in the upper radiator hose. So there is seepage which causes water to leak in that area,” he said.
“But you can’t just replace the hose, because it is integrated with the upper engine. So, if I’m not mistaken, there is a replacement of the hose and the upper engine,” he added.
On the same occasion, Yoona was also informed that the damage was purely from the vehicle. Now, Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) as a manufacturer is trying to investigate related problems.
“He said, when viewed from the engine system, there was no (damage) due to external factors. The info was that the car had problems and TAM would investigate,” he said.

Previously, the video uploaded by Yoona Mei about her experience using the Toyota Veloz went viral on social media. He said, when he was driving alone, suddenly an overheat statement appeared and an order to pull over.
At that time, he claimed to be confused. Because the Toyota Veloz is only two months old. In fact, the vehicle had only been serviced a few days before the incident.

The detikOto team has contacted the Toyota technical team to ask for further information. However, until now, they are still reluctant to talk. Meanwhile, another TAM representative said he would check the viral case.
“I’ll try to check first, okay? I’ll let you know later,” said Dimas Aska as PT TAM’s Head of Media Relations to detikOto.
