The controversial TV preacher Jan Hanvold, who founded the Christian TV channel Visjon Norge, has suffered a heart attack while traveling in the USA.

The TV channel then urged its viewers to pray to God for Hanvold.

– Vision Norway has been through many a storm, now it is being hit again. We thank you for everything that Visjon Norge has meant and still means, said Røysland.
