Game companies choose different paths within the monetization policy. However, in the case of Diablo 4, it looks like the Battle Pass here will not be the most generous. While in Fortnite or other free-to-play games you can actually get enough in-game currency through the Battle Pass to buy another “ticket”, unfortunately nothing like that is realistic with the new game by Blizzard. During your journey to level 84, when you actually open all the bonuses, you will get only 666 pieces of platinum, which is really not enough.
The volume is so small that it won’t buy you much in Diablo 4. In fact, you hardly have enough for even the cheapest game item, which is of course not quite right. Most similarly tuned games offer players far more options in this regard, which is why a certain percentage of the community already rang out. Overall, it looks like Blizzard didn’t get the design of the Premium Battle Pass very successful, as the currency earned from it not only doesn’t buy many things, but it also doesn’t open another Battle Pass, leaving you with no choice but to pull out your wallet next time.
The Battlepass Gives 666 Platinum. The Cheapest Item in the Store is 800 Platinum.
