Actress Anna Drijver is a hit on Netflix. After she already scored top scores on the streaming service with the first season of Undercover, she now scores with a new Dutch-Flemish series on Netflix. In Knokke Off she plays one of the leading roles and that series is currently number 1 in the top 10 best viewed series of the day.
The series begins with the arrival of Daan (Eliyha Altena) and his mother Melissa (Anna Drijver) to the Belgian coastal city of Knokke. They stay there on a campsite and do not have it wide. But soon they come into contact with the local population of the fashionable seaside resort. Louise (Pommelien Thijs) and Alexandre (Willem De Schryver) are not shy and spend their summers full of booze and drugs on the boulevard.
But as brash and cheerful as it all seems, the story goes deeper. For example, Louise has a bipolar disorder, Alexandre comes from their family with little love and many problems and Melissa also appears to have an agenda other than an innocent holiday. Violence, betrayal, intrigue, sexual escapades. Nothing is shunned in the Netflix series.

About the many intimate scenes, De Schryver says to The Latest News: ,,A lot of agreements have been made in advance about those scenes. Felien, the intimacy coach was also always present when intimate scenes were played.” In this way, safety was created, says the actor. “The boundaries are clearly marked. We know everyone is okay with it. We know where we can or cannot touch each other.”
Five days after its release, the Netflix series can already be called a hit with the first place of the best viewed series on the streaming service. In addition to Anna Drijver, there is also another familiar face for Dutch people: Jasmine Sendar. The actress played in Gold Coast and On the way to tomorrow and has recently appeared in Good times, bad times.
