PARIS – Slovak cyclist Peter Sagan has completed his last Tour de France. However, the three-time world champion does not stop after the world’s most famous race.
On August 3, the joint World Cycling Championships will start in Glasgow, where he would like to introduce himself on several fronts: “I would like to go there on the road and also on a mountain bike. I am trying to motivate and prepare. We still have a rich cycling program ahead of us.”
After the world championship, the thirty-three-year-old competitor should devote himself only to mountain biking and believes that he will win a place at next year’s Olympics in Paris. “I hope to be there on a mountain bike. A medal is possible, but the important thing is to reach the finish line. I believe I can achieve a good result,” he said.
