Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Limited Camera Upgrades and Focus on Other Improvements

In recent years, the upgrade rate of Samsung’s flagship mobile phones has been relatively conservative. At present, news about the Samsung Galaxy S24 series has been exposed. According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series phones will continue to use the 12-megapixel front-facing lens of the Galaxy S23 series, and even the flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra will not receive an upgrade to the front-facing lens.

Earlier this year, Samsung equipped the Galaxy S23 series with a new 12-megapixel front-facing lens. This is the first time Samsung has upgraded the front-facing lens of a flagship machine since the Galaxy S10 series in 2019. Therefore, the Galaxy S24 series is unlikely to improve in this regard, and now the news confirms this.

This news also means that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will not be equipped with an under-screen lens. Samsung may believe that the under-display lens still cannot provide the image quality expected from the Galaxy S series.

According to previous reports, the rear lens of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will not change much, and the 200-megapixel main lens will continue to be used. However, it is reported that the telephoto lens of the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be adjusted, the existing 10x optical zoom lens will be upgraded, and the originally rumored variable focal length design will be cancelled.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will have very limited camera improvements. However, for the pursuit of the ultimate photography experience, I believe that Samsung will upgrade and improve in other aspects to bring users a higher quality mobile phone experience. The news gives consumers a first look at the upcoming Galaxy S24 series phones.
