According to Sky, Julian Draxler is being courted by several Saudi Arabian clubs. The 58-time national player is still under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2024, but was last loaned to the Portuguese champions Benfica Lisbon. But Draxler could hardly recommend himself there. In his first 18 games for the club, he managed just two goals and no assists. The former Schalke player was then slowed down by an injury to his left ankle until the end of the season.

The 2014 world champion probably has no future at PSG either. According to French media reports, the new Paris coach Luis Enrique should not plan with Draxler. The 29-year-old midfielder is also missing from the club’s squad for the upcoming Asian tour.
League in Saudi Arabia on a spending spree
After superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, top stars Karim Benzema from Real Madrid and N’Golo Kanté from Chelsea recently switched to the Saudi league in the winter. In addition, the clubs from Saudi Arabia keep attracting other top players and coaches from Europe with offers worth millions. Draxler would be the first well-known professional from Germany who is drawn to the desert this summer.
