Boh Foi Toch in the Megatent (10.15 am)
You know the biggest band from the Achterhoek – Normal – but in the region there is another band with legendary status: Boh Foi Toch. If you are not familiar with the regional language, it means something like: poeh poeh nou nou. There is of course overlap, because one of the founders of Boh Foi Toch was Brek Jan, Jan Manschot (rip), also one of the founders of Normal. Hans Keuper is still there. Tex-Mex, cajun, straight from Louisiana into the Achterhoek and if you’re at the Zwarte Cross, you must have seen this once.
Spice Girls Undercover Session in the Undercover Tent (2pm)
We missed those Undercover sessions a bit because why go to a Bruce Springsteen Undercover session when the real Bruce Springsteen is breaking things down elsewhere on the planet. We like to make an exception for the Spice Girls. We used to be on Geri, but he is now dating Max Verstappen’s boss and that makes it (possibly) a bit strange.

We’ve already tipped a lot of pirate stuff and of course it doesn’t make any sense at all, but tell us things that are better than blaring along with 10,000 others with a beer in your hands with lyrics you just don’t know well enough?
Nusantara Beat at the Exoticana (7pm)
It was almost the whole weekend on the edge of shit weather and here you can warm yourself to tropical sounds straight from Indonesia. An ode to the Indonesian music scene, we didn’t even know it was a thing or existed. Booooronooondanggg garrringggg, well, you don’t know it all anyway.
Teenage Bottlerocket at Café Harder! (8:30 pm)
Skatepunt isn’t even a guilty pleasure, it’s just a pleasure. So if Samantha is whining again that Avril Lavigne-esque toddler music is chasing through the speakers, just kick her out of the house. Bye bye Samant. Teenage Bottlerocket is still going strong as one of the pioneers in the punk world. Skate or Die, Bigger than Kiss, you’ve probably heard of it. TO GO!
Illmatic feat. Extince, Sherlock, Jane doe & McGyver in The Noaberhood (21.00 uur)
Of course, that whole collective doesn’t tell us much because everyone in the Noaberhood stands for one man: Extince, who actually has Peter Kops. Already lonely for years and alone on the monkey rock of the Dutch hip-hop world. He survived Brainpower, Bange Hans and Kaassoufflé and now also all those crazy Lil’ Kleine figures. Bald or combing you know.
