SWR3 New Pop Festival: A Platform for Talented Newcomers, Established Artists, and Environmental Sustainability

The “SWR3 New Pop Festival” in Baden-Baden has been a big stage for newcomers since the 1990s. Among others, Amy Winehouse performed there in 2004, before she had her big breakthrough two years ago with the album “Back to Black”. Cupra, known for their commitment to music, is appearing as a co-host for the first time this year from September 14th to 16th. In addition to the young talents, established artists are always guests. In 2022, for example, it was Sam Ryder and Calum Scott. And a few stars can be expected again this year.

Concerts and event highlights are broadcast on SWR3 festival radio and online in the live stream on SWR3.de. Since 2019, the New Pop Festival has also been concerned with aspects of environmental protection and sustainability in organization and execution. The radio station SWR3 received the “A Greener Festival Award” for this.

Cupra has been working with young musical talent for several years and, for example, offers them a professional recording studio for their further career with its Music Labs. (awm)
