Poland in the final at home
A few hours before this meeting, it was the Poles who capsized their audience. Opposed to Japan, the protégés of Nikola Grbic were able to ignore a complicated start to the match. Indeed, the Japanese were able to stand out on the scoreboard thanks to a series of six exchanges won in a row. The Japanese tried to pull themselves together at the start of the fourth round but, very quickly, the Poles regained control and never let go. It was on the second occasion to conclude that the Ergo Arena exploded (19-25, 28-26, 25-17, 25-21).
