Sero> Shocking information is also out that rioters have burnt the wife of a freedom fighter in Manipur. Ibetombi (80), wife of freedom fighter S Churachand Singh, was tragically killed. The assailants locked Ibetombi inside and set the house on fire on May 28 in Sero village of Kaching district. Sero is one of the villages that has seen the worst attacks between the Maythee and Kuki sects. S Churachand Singh is a person who received respect from former President APJ Abdul Kalam. As the village was attacked and fired upon, Ibetombi advised his family members to flee. Grandson Premkanta said that Ibetombi had told him to come back and take him after the attack was over.
