Al Dhafra, July 22, 2020, WAM/ The mango competition, in its two categories, local and diversified, at the 19th edition of the Liwa Dates Festival, witnessed strong competitions between 105 farmers from different regions of the country who registered in the competition.
The organizing committee of the festival crowned the winners of the first places in the competition, in the presence of Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Director of Planning and Projects Department in the Festivals and Cultural and Heritage Programs Management Committee, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Suhail Al Ameri from the Al Dhafra Region Police Directorate, and a number of farmers and lovers of heritage competitions.
The results of the “Local Mango” competition resulted in the farmer “Ali Muhammad Salem Muhammad Al-Shahiari” winning the first place, “Awaida Khalifa Bayat Mashwi Al-Qubaisi” in the second place, “the heirs of Abdullah Ali Muhammad bin Shaiban Al-Muhairi” in the third place, “Fatima Jumaa Rashid Buqafl Al-Yassi” in the fourth place, and “Hind Obaid Rashid Rashid Al-Hamli and the brothers” in the fifth place.
The first place in the “Diversified Mango” competition was won by the farmer, “Mohammed Juma Salem Al Shaer Al Mazrouei”, and in the second place “Ahmed Muhammad Muhammad Ali Al Rumaithi”, and in the third place “Suleiman Saeed Suleiman Al Dhanhani”, and in the fourth place “Mohammed Rashid Al Shriqi Al Mahrezi”, and in the fifth place “Saif Syah Salem Tamash Al Mansouri”.
