K Surendran Demands Answers for Denial of Award to Child Actor of Malikappuram

K Surendran wants those who decided the award to answer for denying the award to the child actor of Malikappuram movie. Are the blinders deciding the award and how can those who have seen that kid’s performance avoid it. K Surendran said that behind the complete exclusion of the film was communal thinking and such actions were regrettable.

Tanmaya Sale won the best child actor award of the year. The award is for acting in the film ‘Vazhak’ directed by Sanalkumar Sasidharan. But after this, many people came forward with different opinions on social media.

It was discussed that the award was not given to Devananda in the movie ‘Malikappuram’. Many took to social media to comment that it was not right that Devananda was not even given a special jury instruction. Actor Sarath Das and writer Anju Parvathy Prabhish also shared posts on Facebook pointing this out.
