According to Yonhap news agency, citing the South Korean military, North Korea launched several cruise missiles towards the sea west of the Korean peninsula.
Yonhap said, quoting South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, that a number of missiles were detected and fired at around 4 am local time (1900 GMT Friday).
This is the latest launch by North Korea since it launched two ballistic missiles on Wednesday.
